Key takeaways

  • HighLevel says it has more than 120,000 customers and over 1 million SMBs (March 2026). That's the most current official count.[1]
  • Its platform ran 120 billion workflow actions in 2024, and 1.11 million accounts created 1.76 billion contacts.[2]
  • HighLevel uses at least five units (customers, accounts, locations, businesses powered, agencies), and several of its own figures contradict each other.
  • The last dated agency count is from November 2021: over 15,000. The 40,000 and 60,000 figures come from undated landing pages.[3]
  • "Sales facilitated" is customer revenue, not HighLevel's. The only official revenue signal is 781% three-year growth.[4]

HighLevel is large and growing fast, but most of the statistics repeated about it don't hold up. The company says it has more than 120,000 customers and over 1 million SMBs, and it ran 120 billion workflow actions in 2024.[1][2] There is no current, defined count of paying agencies.

We checked every figure below against its source on 4 October 2026. Where HighLevel contradicts itself, we show both numbers. Where a figure only exists on an undated page, we say so.

The short answer

If you need one number, use HighLevel's March 2026 figure: more than 120,000 customers and over 1 million SMBs across more than 150 countries.[1] Call it vendor-reported, and give the date.

If someone asks how many agencies use GoHighLevel, the honest answer is that nobody outside HighLevel knows. The company's last dated agency figure is from 2021. Every number since then is either a different unit or an undated marketing counter.

And if you're using these numbers to decide whether to build on HighLevel, they won't answer that question. Scale tells you the vendor will be around. It doesn't tell you whether the platform fits your funnel.

Checked against the source on 2026-10-04. 'Vendor-reported' means HighLevel's own figure with no published method. 'Estimate' means a third-party model.

The pattern is clear. HighLevel's activity numbers are large and well sourced to the company. Its customer numbers are current but use shifting units. Its agency numbers are either old or undated.

Five units HighLevel uses, and why they aren't agencies

HighLevel reports its size in at least five different units. None of them means "paying agencies".

  1. Customers. The closest thing to a paying subscriber. 120,000+ in March 2026.[1] A customer can be an agency or a single business that buys HighLevel directly.
  2. Accounts. Used in the 2024 recap: 1.11 million accounts created contacts.[2] In HighLevel's product, an account is usually a sub-account, one client business inside an agency.
  3. Locations. Used in the 2025 review: 125 billion executions "across nearly one million locations".[5] Location is HighLevel's internal name for a sub-account.
  4. Businesses powered. The broadest unit, and the least stable. "Over 2 million" in November 2025, "1M" in January 2026, "2.2 million" on the company's about page, and "more than 1 million" in March 2026.[6][5][11][12]
  5. Agencies. "Over 15,000" in November 2021, then only on undated landing pages.[3]

The ratio between them is the useful part. 120,000 customers serving around a million businesses means a typical customer runs several sub-accounts. That's the agency model at work, but it doesn't tell you how many of those 120,000 are agencies.

Platform activity: workflows, contacts, messages, email

HighLevel's activity numbers are the most impressive figures it publishes, and the hardest to compare year to year.

For 2024, it reported 120 billion workflow actions, 4.5 million workflows created, 1.76 billion contacts and 440 million opportunities.[2] It also reported more than 1,400 employees, and $44,381,843.48 in commissions earned by its affiliates that year.[2] That last figure explains a lot about the review pages you'll find when you search for HighLevel.

For 2025, it reported 42.7 million workflows created, 125 billion executions, more than 7 million Voice AI calls and more than 70 million AI-powered messages.[5]

Monthly figures vary by announcement. In November 2025, HighLevel cited 67 million new leads and more than 1.86 billion messages a month.[6] In March 2026, it cited 194 million leads, 1.37 billion messages and 19 million conversations a month.[12] Leads nearly tripled while messages fell, and neither post explains why.

Email has its own reports: more than 1.31 billion emails sent in January 2026 and more than 1.44 billion processed in May 2026.[13][14]

2023 to 2024 to 2025: why the workflow numbers don't reconcile

Two comparisons don't add up.

Workflows created. The 2024 recap says 4.5 million.[2] The 2025 review says 42.7 million, up 22.4% year over year, which implies a 2024 base of about 34.9 million.[5] Both can't describe the same thing.

Workflow actions. The 2023 review reports 2,074,354,345 workflow actions executed.[15] The 2024 recap reports 120 billion.[2] That's a jump of about 58 times in one year, with no stated change in definition.

Most likely, HighLevel counted different things in different years. That's normal for marketing recaps. It means you shouldn't compute growth rates from them.

How many agencies use GoHighLevel?

HighLevel's November 2021 funding release said it had "over 15,000 marketing agency customers serving over 300,000 small businesses".[3] Ten days later, the lead investor, PeakEquity, described the same company as having over 10,000 agency customers and over 240,000 small businesses.[16] Even the 2021 figure has two versions.

Since then, the agency counts come from HighLevel landing pages with no date or method. One shows 60,000+ agencies and 1.4 million+ businesses.[7] Another shows 40,000+ agencies and 1.2 million+ businesses.[17] Both are live pages. We can't tell when either number was set.

The 60,000 figure is the one most review sites repeat, often attributed to a HighLevel annual update. We checked HighLevel's 2025 year in review; it doesn't contain that figure.[5]

The safe statement is: HighLevel last gave a dated agency count in 2021 (over 15,000), and has reported customers rather than agencies since.

Revenue: what's public and what's an estimate

HighLevel is private and doesn't publish revenue. What it does publish is growth.

It ranked No. 516 on the 2025 Inc. 5000 with 781% three-year revenue growth.[4] It also ranked No. 116 on Deloitte's 2025 Technology Fast 500 with 781% growth.[18] In 2024, General Atlantic described it as "growing more than 5x while maintaining profitability" over the previous three years.[19]

Be careful with the bigger dollar figures on HighLevel's own site. The homepage shows more than $5.2 billion in sales facilitated in 2025; the about page says $4.2 billion in sales for 2025.[20][11] The March 2026 release cites more than $7 billion in "ecosystem value".[1] These are customers' sales or an undefined total, not HighLevel's revenue, and the two 2025 figures disagree.

Third-party revenue estimates don't help much. GetLatka shows an estimated $82.7 million ARR for 2024 with no method.[8] Similarweb estimates revenue of $25 million to $50 million and 201 to 500 employees.[21] HighLevel itself reported more than 1,400 employees at the end of 2024, and press coverage in October 2025 repeated a company figure of more than 1,800.[2][22] An estimate that misses the headcount by that much shouldn't anchor a revenue figure.

Independent footprint and search demand

Independent tools can check HighLevel's footprint, but they count websites, not customers.

TechnologyChecker detects HighLevel on 109,442 active domains, 8.91% of its marketing-automation category and second of 415 tools behind HubSpot. The page itself says to read that as domains, not customers.[9] Wappalyzer counts 130,000 live websites.[23] The two tools crawl different universes, so don't add them or average them.

Traffic and search tell you about demand. Similarweb estimates about 13.3 million visits to gohighlevel.com in its August 2026 view, 77.5% of them direct.[21] Semrush estimates 90,500 US searches a month for "gohighlevel", another 90,500 for "go high level", 33,100 for "highlevel" and 22,200 for "gohighlevel login", with about 559,000 organic visits to the domain.[10] A high share of direct and login traffic suggests people using the product, not only shopping for it.

The unofficial r/gohighlevel subreddit has about 25,000 members.[24]

For context, HubSpot reported 288,706 customers at the end of 2025, defined as businesses with at least one paid subscription, and $3.13 billion in 2025 revenue.[25] We don't compute a "market share" from that. HubSpot's unit is defined; HighLevel's isn't, so the ratio would be meaningless.

What these numbers mean for a buyer

Headline counts answer "will this vendor be around?" HighLevel's growth, funding and profitability claims answer that well enough. They don't answer "will this work for my business?"

Size HighLevel by the job it does in your funnel instead. For an expert business, that job is contacts, pipeline, booking, texting and email. Where it fits, and where it breaks, is in our GoHighLevel guide. Our builder's view, with no referral link, is in the GoHighLevel review.

Then size the bill, not the plan.

If you're deciding whether to move onto HighLevel from another platform, the migration test matters more than any adoption figure. We cover it in GoHighLevel vs Kajabi, ClickFunnels and Kartra. If you want a second opinion on your own numbers, book a strategy call.

Methodology

We opened every source listed below on 4 October 2026 and checked each figure against the page. HighLevel's figures are vendor-reported, from its own recaps, releases and landing pages. Third-party figures (Semrush, Similarweb, TechnologyChecker, Wappalyzer, GetLatka, GummySearch) are estimates from each tool's own model or crawl.

We left out figures we couldn't confirm at the source: BuiltWith's website count (the page served a bot check), G2's review count (blocked), and agency and business counts that appear on review sites with no HighLevel source behind them. Homepage counters change often; recheck them before you quote them.
